What is the most important aspect of leadership? Character. God values character over every other facet of leadership. When He lists the qualifications for the leaders of His people in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, all except one are character-based. Only one is performance based- “able to teach.” So if we want to be effective leaders who bring God glory, we must pursue character. But what is character? What kind of character do we need to have?
